Account Manager - UC - Benelux
Sangoma an industry leader in Unified Communications is looking for a Channel Account Manager to expand its presence in Benelux. Utilizing our award-winning proprietary software we are able to offer complete and customizable communications solutions to meet the demands of every size business. Sangoma has been recognized by a multitude of leading analysts. Our go-to-market strategy focuses on providing products, solutions, and services that support a robust channel partner ecosystem which includes resellers, interconnects, MSPs, VAR’s, distributors, and Master Agents. The successful candidate will join our sales team and will have the opportunity to work with the lasted Sangoma UC solutions, IP-phones and other IP communications. Your Role:
  • Exceed sales targets by successfully managing your pipeline through the various stages: demos, quotes, contract negotiations, pricing, and installation and maintenance
  • Recruit new channel partners
  • Focus on the primary growth area of UC whilst continuing to engage with the existing sales of other products
  • Ensure that all customers are aware and engaged with the Sangoma portfolio
  • Manage the onboarding process for new partners
  • Effectively interacting with customers using various communication methods like phone, video, email, chat, and social media
  • Continue to build the business with the existing partner community
  • Be a true business partner to your channel: set up reseller goals and business reviews, team up for customer meetings and sell alongside your partners
  • Utilise a consultative sales approach with partners and customers to demonstrate the technology benefits of our product portfolio
  • Partner with internal teams to produce a strong pipeline of business while accurately forecasting within our CRM system
  • Regular travel to engage with current and potential customers
  • Reactive sales – follow-up on inquiries, pricing/quotations, and generally moving all enquiries to sales closure
  • Engage with the operations team to ensure that product requirements are forecast to ensure availability
  • Be aware of any finance issues with the customer that might prevent product shipment
  • Maintain a list of product enhancements that would help achieve sales growth
  • Where non-standard product pricing is needed, gain approval before submitting to customer
  • Work on business cases where required to justify product development or pricing adjustments
  • Set up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other sales actions
  • Stay abreast of competitors and competitive information to be able to influence customers effectively
  • Ensure the CRM is constantly updated to reflect the ongoing sales pipeline
  • Maintain a sales forecast inside the CRM
  • Keep up to date with the Sangoma product roadmap
  • On occasion help the wider international sales team to achieve the wider regional target
  • Work with customers to create regular case studies and success stories
  • Proactive sales prospecting – seeking net new opportunities in the defined sales region
  • Manage the pipeline of current and new customer relationships
  • Build rapport with customers and their knowledge expert
  • Communicate current marketing strategies to customers and prospects
  • Maintain a sales forecast for each quarter and update the Company CRM accordingly
  • Strong communication with regional marketing
  • Such other services as the Employee and Company may agree upon from time to time
Your Background:
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, other languages desirable
  • Be hungry for success and have consistently met or exceeded your sales goals
  • At least 2 years of direct work experience in a sales capacity in a related industry, e.g. Unified Comms, SIP, VoIP
  • Demonstrated tenacity for developing and managing a strong base of channel partners within the current territory with the ability to convert prospects, close deals and achieve sales quotas
  • Be a team player who doesn't mind getting your hands dirty with the details as you partner with sales engineering, professional services, and various sales operations teams
  • Experience in bringing on new channels for sales and ongoing account management
  • Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
