Trade Marketing Intern (Belgium) - PepsiCo - Zaventem

PepsiCo BeLux is looking for an enthusiastic Trade Marketing intern to join our team in Zaventem for a period of 6 months starting from the 1st of August until the 3rd of February 2023!

What will you learn throughout your internship?

In this role you will learn how to support the Shopper Marketing Department with every-day shopper marketing tasks for the Organized Trade (=Retail) and Away From home (horeca, petrol stations, cinemas…) channels in the Benelux. You will also learn how to be responsible for the development of new concepts/ideas for all in-store communication (as well permanent POS as temporary promotional materials) or materials to support launch of NPDs (new product developments) and marketing events to enforce our market position within the category. You will work on different brands within the Snacks (Lay’s, Doritos, Duyvis), Grains (Quaker), CSD (Pepsi, 7UP) and the juices category (Tropicana, Alvalle).

In this position you work closely with the responsible shopper for each category, account managers, brand marketeers, field and legal counsel as well as our external agencies. You will report to the Shopper Marketing Manager Beverages Benelux. To make this role a success, you will need strong communication, organizing and multitasking skills. This enables you to manage deadlines and drive for excellence in execution for our campaigns.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude, is ambitious & result focused and has strong communication skills.

• Is a bachelor's or master's student or graduated oriented towards business/marketing.
• Can bring ideas to life – by the way of good communication and teamwork.
• Is passionate about brands, can think outside the box and always keeps the consumer in mind.
• Can confidently take initiative and start your own projects, being organized throughout the process and have a result-oriented focus (hands-on mentality).
• Can analyze workload, assign priorities, and maintain focus on productive endeavors.
• Is curious and interested in the newest developments in digitalization and you keep track of the developments in this field.
• Is proactive and has a hands-on, positive mentality.
• Preferably has a driver’s license.
• Is fluent in Dutch and English, and has a good knowledge of French (this is a plus).
