Trade Marketeer
Purpose of the job
The person on that position will be responsible for managing a certain geographical area which consists out of predefined retail shops, by following the company strategy in order to improve the availability, presence and selling out of our products.
Main objective is to realize the volume & SOM targets in own area through a self-designed area business plan, tailor-made approach and retailer/staff coaching & engagement. Implement with excellence and realize the set cycle objectives on distribution, coverage and program execution.
What will you do?
Build up and ensure a long-term commercial relationship with fixed clients in a predetermined geographical sector (area) in order to guarantee an optimal collaboration.
Analyze/monitor performance on area level and implement the necessary actions in line with the overall company strategy to achieve volume and SOM growth. Designing an area business plan.
Analyze/monitor performance on shop level and translate this in tailor-made action plans for this client. Evaluate, adapt and steer when needed.
Perform basic cycle activities (distribution, coverage, program execution) in order to ensure and improve the availability, presence and selling out of our products.
Transmit all market information (client, product, competition) within the legal boundaries in order to be able to evaluate current activities and strategies and to be able to quickly respond to/anticipate changing market situations.
Reinforce deals and activation programs on the shop floor by coaching, educating and engaging retailers and staff; initiate, organizing and coordinate business reviews with key retailers
Control and execute daily and specific administration in order to enable the handling of predetermined activities
Control the different stock movements (cigarettes, tobacco, premiums) linked to activities. Undertake, in case of errors, all the necessary corrective actions.
Who are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree or equivalent by experience
1-2 years sales experience as a Sales Representative
Dutch native and English on communicative level, French is an advantage
Computer skills: Windows & Microsoft Office
