Tender Manager - DEME - Belgique

Summary

As Tender Manager you will be involved in complex civil and maritime works (i.e. port & harbor constructions, immersed tunnels, tunneling and foundation works). We provide our client’s advices and services at all stages of their projects, from early in the design phase till the end of the construction phase. Because of the wide variety of specialisations, we are looking for motivated candidates to reinforce our team.

Your responsibilities
You will be responsible for the preparation of international tenders You will follow-up corresponding project proposals As first point of contact you will work in close collaboration with your colleagues and you will manage your tender team You will prepare the tender submissions and contracts You will assist the management during contracts negotiations
Your profile

You hold a degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering, preferably with a specialization in a civil construction works
Having at least 5 years’ experience in tender and/or Project Management is required
Having experience in complex tender processes (e.g. EPC, DB, DBFM) and/or in managing civil projects is an asset
You are able to express yourself fluently in spoken and written English. Knowledge of Dutch, French and/or German is an asset
You have excellent negotiation skills and you can communicate at several levels
You are pragmatical and you work in a proactive manner
You are prepared to travel abroad for short missions
