Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for a driven Technical Product Manager Video Surveillance (CCTV) to help promote and implement our CCTV Portfolio. More specifically, you will be responsible for the lifecycle management of smart Video Surveillance Solutions, both from a commercial and a technical point of view. This consists of defining the portfolio roadmap and rolling out the product-line activities in close collaboration with Siemens management, strategic suppliers, Siemens HQ as well as with internal technical, project management and sales colleagues.

In this role, you will be Siemens’ ambassador for our CCTV portfolio, inspiring others to new ideas. You will develop the go-to-market strategy by leveraging market trends, sales force feedback, competitor offering and customer requirements. Additionally, you will support sales and business development colleagues in providing advanced and comprehensive technical assistance for key opportunities.

This entails the following responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining product knowledge to ensure product information support.
  • Keeping up to date with trends in the CCTV and Security market (e.g., cameras, VMS, AI, VCA, recording, video wall solutions, …)
  • Defining the product roadmap with objectives and milestones; organizing the product roll-out in collaboration with technical experts.
  • Collaborating closely with partners and Siemens HQ to strengthen the product offering and its roadmap with specific market requirements and keeping track on roadmap and product evolution.
  • Having technical discussions with technical-commercial stakeholders on features and functionalities of our products; translating customer/project requirements to product features.
  • Assessing project feasibility from a technical point of view, along with project managers and service delivery managers
  • Defining and steering new product developments and new releases, providing general business support.
  • Analyzing and reporting market requirements, product/technology trends and business opportunities; influencing the market through visits to events, customers etc.
  • Exploring new ways of improving existing services.
  • Providing training to users and colleagues, support in de demonstrations to customers, in collaboration with Sales rep’s.

Both experienced engineers and junior young graduates can apply for this job. The training will vary accordingly.

  • You have at least a bachelor’s degree in a technical oriented background e.g.: Electronics, Electricity, ICT, Applied Computer Science, Networks & Systems.
  • You have strong affinity with or experience in security and preferably show an interest in cybersecurity topics
  • You have a highly analytical and certain commercial mindset and like to think conceptually and solution oriented.
  • You can communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders from varying business levels.
  • You are proficient with server/PC configurations. In addition, you also have knowledge about network principles, IP Protocol, virtual environments, databases.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English. French is an asset.
