The European Central Bank, other regulators, and our internal group services, all rely on correct, accurate reporting on our financial risks as bank/insurer. This is known as regulatory reporting. At the moment, KBC is working on its long-term architecture for regulatory reporting and the calculations behind it.
We use various high-level components, such as OneSumX (for the calculation of financial risks), Qlik Sense (for data analysis and reporting) and ETL feeds with financial information about our portfolio and the market situation.
All these high-level components are held together by our Orchestration Framework. This in-house development does not merely perform tasks automatically at specific times, acting more like a chain of triggers in which e.g XML files play a role.
