Our client is a market leader in the real estate sector with more than 800 employers and over 250 stores in Europe (HQ in Brussels) and is looking for a Tax Manager in Brussels.

As Tax Manager, you will provide support on domestic and foreign tax issues in Europe and report to the Tax Director. You will work closely with the legal and finance departments. Your main responsibilities include:

• Tax advisory: identification, escalation and mitigation of tax risks; real estate, corporate acquisitions and tax efficiency projects
• Tax accounting: preparation and analysis of tax related financial reporting and calculations; preparation of financial statements; collaboration with external advisors and/or auditors; providing support on tax accounting aspects of real estate, corporate acquisitions and tax projects; etc.
• Tax compliance: tax computations; collaboration with business teams for the preparation of (in)direct tax and levy returns; collaboration with external advisors; compliance calendar and tax filings.
