About Our Client

Our customer is a world leader in the manufacture and design of complex mechanical assemblies and components for the aerospace industry.

For their Headquarter located in Zaventem, we are currently looking for a Talent Manager who will plan, organize and control their Talent Management activities.

Job Description

The Talent Manager will be responsible for the following responsibilities:

  • You develop, implement, and communicate an overall talent management plan for the company to continuously develop the in-house talent.
  • You assist and advise managers defining their talent pool and advise employees making sure their talent profile is up to date and reflects the existing situation and expected evolution
  • You define together with the relevant managers the needs to develop and improve competences based on the results of the competence management system
  • You assure integration of these needs in the training plan and follow up on the competence development.
  • You oversee recruitment and selection activities for white and blue collars within a defined budget and time frame with the aim to attract and hire the right candidates (internal and external) in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Team
  • You support the Talent Acquisition Team building a candidate pool, selecting recruitment partners or other service providers or tools and regularly report to Senior Management and Execom on talent acquisition actions
  • You manage, execute and analyze onboarding and exit interviews and give feedback to the business
  • You develop in close collaboration with the CHRO a communication plan on all relevant business-related topics and assist in the organization of (ad hoc and traditional) personnel events to maintain and - where possible - improve employee engagement.
  • You manage, introduce and implement different HR improvement projects in order to enable the company to become and remain an employer of choice on the market
  • You support and guide the Management staff in people related aspects (leadership development, evaluation, talent acquisition…)
  • Provide all data and advice in the preparation of the annual HR plan and budget in order to ensure that it encompasses the required resources to continue and even expand the company's talent management efforts.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate can demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • You hold a Bachelor or Master's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent by experience
  • You have more than 6 years of experience in Talent Management
  • You can demonstrate a people management experience
  • You are fluent in Dutch, French and English (both spoken and written)
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills allowing you to build constructive relationships at every levels of an organization (internally as well as externally)
  • You have a hands-on mindset, can work autonomously with few guidance and enjoy sharing best practices with team members
  • You enjoy working in an international and multicultural environment
