Your responsibilities
- Drive product development of next generation Robotic Lawnmowers, technology building blocks and interfaces with end-to-end responsibility from concept stage to market introduction
- Defining technical product architecture as well as shaping the long-term technology roadmap and strategy
- Defining and driving the technical implementation of the overarching Connectivity and IoT strategy
- Continuous product improvement: feature upgrades, general innovations and IP protection
- Responsibility for System, Software and Hardware engineering for Robotic Lawnmowers including concept review, planning, resource allocation, tracking and issues resolution
- Resource allocation and prioritisation
- Managing collaboration with internal and external development partners, universities and start-ups
Your profile
- Master’s or PhD degree level in mechatronics, computer science, electronics or similar
- Experience of mobile robotics, driver assistance systems and IoT environments
- Experience with the full consumer product development lifecycle, as well as system / software and product integration
- Team leadership experience
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong sense of ownership
- Experience in project and stakeholder management
- Good knowledge of system and software development processes as well as requirements analysis experience
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual ability
- Good communication and coordination skills
