Role Purpose



Execute site surveys with the landlord/building owner and customer, document these and provide feedback in the various systems

Complete ownership from site survey till handover of a building connection towards the Colt network

Request and follow up civil authorizations in the Brussels, Flemish and Walloon regions

Daily follow-up of the running construction sites according the agreements that are made with the government, landlord and customer with respect to safety guidelines.

Handover construction site with government and ensure that the construction site is in an impeccable state after our works

Administratively follow-up of the building connects and provide feedback in the various systems (Colt & None-Colt)

Verification of the invoices of our suppliers and contractors for all the executed works and discuss/challenge when applicable

Govern the financials (connection site, project wise, yearly budget)

Follow-up reroutes and participate in construction meetings, discuss and defend the position of Colt in order to achieve the best and most favorable solution

Be able to start early during the morning in order to manage the contractors and teams and start up the necessary construction sites

Be active in an on call system (24/7 in 1/7 week), in case of a call, go on site and measure fibers (OTDR) in order to detect possible fiber cuts, trigger & manage our fiber contractor, provide follow up to the NOC and make sure that the interruption is resolved as soon as possible

Raise, prepare, follow up planned works on the network (during and out of hours)

Key Performance indicators

Ensure that the divisional targets are met: MRR, NPS, KPI’s budgets, costs

Respect the Operational Level Agreement in the workflow system

Define and respect the Fiber Completion Date within the overall Colt Promised Date

Process the quotes for connecting buildings within the Operational Level Agreement

Key Relations

  • Internally: create and maintain excellent relationships with the various departments (Sales, OM, Customer Experience, Operations,…)
  • Externally: create and maintain an excellent relationship with customers, suppliers, contractors, OLO’s, landlords and official authorities

Experience

  • Being fluent in French/English or Flemish/French/English (spoken and written certainly) French is very important as this person will replace a french speaking person that operates a lot in Brussels!
  • Must be self-confident and assertive to defend Colt with various parties (contractors, government, landlord, customer, construction site supervisors,…)
  • Must be a team player who is strong individually
  • Have strong administrative skills, documenting pictures, surveys, measurements must be a natural habit
  • Being able to work with Osiris, CAD, GIS-systems is a plus
  • Experience in working in a high pressure environment and adhering to tight deadlines
  • Good knowledge in fibre and construction technology, measuring technique and telecommunication products
  • International driving license B
