SQL Server Database Administrators

Founded in 1998, Caitlann Consulting started as Oracle database administrators for a Belgian pharmaceutical company. Since then we have built a solid reputation in delivering operational database services. With a dynamic team of highly skilled Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL database administrators we are serving more than 50 companies internationally; good for a total of more than 1000 databases.

To reinforce our team we are currently looking for Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrators.

Your responsibilities

Our DBA team supports all our customers with regards to their business critical databases either on-site or remotely.

Your main tasks will consist of:

Install, configure, manage, support, monitor and troubleshoot our customer's databases
Prepare and implement backups and recovery procedures
Analyze database performance and execute performance tuning
Take ownership of database related incidents and problems and provide resolutions in a timely manner
Deploy, migrate and upgrade database systems in different environments: Windows, Azure, AWS, VMWare, ...

Required skills and experience:

At least a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline

Minimum 3 years of experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
