Shipment & Supply Chain Manager

Our partner, a medium-sized company active in the metal sector and at the forefront of innovation, is looking for its new Shipment and Supply Chain Manager.

Vos responsabilités

SUPPLY CHAIN (60%)

Participate in the definition of the supply chain strategy
Improve the stock, components and finished products levels as well as the order status and production/sale plan
Prepare forecasts to feed the cash flow plan and the S&OP
Gauge the performance and maximize constantly the internal processes

SHIPMENT MANAGEMENT (20%)

Ensure the operations management of shipments
Identify the appropriate means of transport in accordance with deadlines, costs, shipping conditions

PURCHASING MANAGEMENT (20%)

Implement the purchasing policy
Develop the buying strategy together with the executive board
Manage the negotiation with the suppliers

Votre profil

University degree
At least 3 years of experience
Excellent command of English and French. Dutch is a plus!
Knowledge of computer systems (MS OFFICE)
Good analytical skills
Negotiation skills
Good interpersonal skills
Excellent change management and project management skills
Good understanding of Supply Chain, Purchasing and Logistics processes and key performance indicators
Accountability and pro-activity
Organization, rigor to plan all logistics activity
Reactivity, practicality, anticipation to manage unforeseen events and delays
