Senior Software Engineer

Odin creates tools for people building the future.

We are starting by making launching and investing in venture capital funds and syndicates cheaper and easier than ever before. 

We are looking for a senior software engineer (full stack or back end focused) to join our engineering team. The role will focus on shipping new features and guiding new team members to ensure code is DRY and bug-free  Part-time / contractors for this role also considered.

## ##  Responsibilities

• Responsible for bug-free deployment of new features.
• Perform code reviews and introduce best practices to ensure the team delivers high-quality, appropriately tested code.
• Architect systems, building for reliability, security and scale from inception to execution.
• Ensure accountability across a small team of engineers.

## ##  You

• Well rounded engineer with exposure to all layers of application and development
• 5+ years working in a commercial environment, deploying features to end-users.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good understanding of modern DevOps technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid experience working in an agile development environment.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to pick things up quickly, whether a new language, concepts or get to grips with a new industry.

Nice to have

• Experience working at a fast-growing startup.
• You contribute to open source projects.
