Senior Product Specialist - Cognizant - Bruxelles

Location : Belgium – Brussels

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Labware LIMS skills and Subject Matter Expertise in providing Application Development and Support services to the customer businesses at site.
• Responsible to guide customer with Laboratory application solution and build framework for steady state support.
• Responsible for maintaining various support metrics timely reporting to designated people on timely manner.
• Responsible for end-to-end support of the portfolio and work as single point of contact for LIMS Application.
• Support integration with instruments, barcodes, label printers
• Single point of contact with the client
• Ability to work with other vendors
• Coordinate with offshore team
• Report metrics /SLAs and raise any risks to the Service Delivery Lead

Main Duties

• Daily Trouble shooting and resolution of issues arising in Labware LIMS and its integration with other applications
• Daily Tasks & Coordination with customer site business and projects team, and offshore team.
• Formulate system improvement plan and optimization strategy.
• Co-ordination with client to identify problem areas and provide consultancy to address them.
• Daily stand-up meetings and monitoring of referral, direct and non- vendor processing
• Must have daily meetings with Client oversight
• Coordination with offshore support team

Skill and Experience Requirements

• 5 years of experience of managing medium or large size Labware LIMS,
• Must be conversant with different Labware LIMS Modules (Plate Manager Desirable)
• Must have extensive Labware LIMS, configuration experience
• Should be able to independently write LIMS Basic code and write and understand complex subroutines.
• Should be conversant with different lab applications and conversant with managed support service.
• Well conversant with ITIL V3/4 processes.
• Should be able to communicate in English.
• Knowledge of any Database, .NET or Java will be desirable.
• French speaking is mandatory for one position

Qualifications: Science / Engineering graduate.
