The importance of data quality has been increasing enormously in recent years and data management has become one of most exciting domains in the financial industry. At DQM - Data Quality Management - we are at the heart of KBC's data-driven strategy and are responsible for ensuring that KBC delivers top quality reports to national and international regulators.

We work with all entities of the KBC group - at least six banks, five insurers - to produce more than 4500 reports. We receive hundreds of data streams from all entities, perform technical and functional checks on these data, do many calculations and ultimately deliver them in a report for the regulator or management. Today we are doing this for Treasury, Risk, Credit Risk & Finance. However, in the future we aim to extend this to other group divisions, such as Compliance and Tax, and to activities related to non-financial data (e.g. those related to our carbon footprint).

We are the Competence Center for optimizing, standardizing and automating processes about consistent data, measurement and reporting and pro-actively follow up technology evolutions.
Within Data Quality Management (DQM) several projects are set up to manage and improve business processes focusing on the effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the way of working within the whole KBC Group. Therefore we are looking for a senior process manager to design and model the involved processes.

As a senior process manager, you have a diverse pallet of tasks:

  • Able to lead process improvement projects.
  • To translate the ambitious principles of our future way of working to concrete process flows on the end-2-end processes: striving to STP (Straight-Through Processing) from data gathering, to analysing quality, to calculate risk data and preparing reporting.
  • To investigate process synergies cross domains (Finance, Risk, Treasury) and various entities.
  • To analyse the existing processes, redesign and model them with a focus on operational excellence, according to the timelines and quality standards defined by our customers.
  • To take into account the link with and impact on other processes. To provide clear process descriptions about 'as-is' & 'to-be' and provide knowledge sharing.
  • To take the necessary actions to obtain the buy-in of the involved parties, supported by the communication team and the management team.
  • Prepare and manage implementation of solutions.
