Senior Legal Advisor Asset Management

KBC Asset Management manages the money of millions of clients worldwide. We do this through teamwork. As our Senior Legal Advisor, you strengthen a team of twenty-two colleagues spread across six countries. Together, you support our international activities with targeted legal advice.

A team of asset managers takes care of more than 200 investment portfolios. They include funds and mandates from high-net-value clients and mandates from institutional clients. Our motto: keep everyone invested at all times. We do this by focusing on creating value for our clients, often through innovative products.

As an experienced legal advisor, you concentrate on the legal life of the various KBC Asset Management entities.

• You take care of the corporate governance of KBC Asset Management and areas such as licencing requirements, outsourcing and delegation, and strategic projects relating to the business structure of KBC Asset Management.
• You give legal advice in different areas, including strategic initiatives.
• You draft and negotiate contracts.
• You follow, analyse and stay up to date on the latest regulations that are of relevance to KBC. Internal and external stakeholders rely on your advice in these matters.
• You're in contact with regulators, KBC Group Legal and external stakeholders for legal and regulatory issues.
