Our partner is looking for a Senior Lead Buyer to support its team. This international company is wellknown worldwide in the energy sector.

The Lead Buyer will be in charge of:

Maintaining a functional link with the sector purchases
Manage a team of one or two buyers
Maintain a link with scheduling (SC) and EB (Technical Definition)

Your responsibilities

What are your responsibilities?

In the startup phase

Apprehend the product and identify critical parts
Ensure the creation of product sheets
Create the supplier base necessary for the prototype and production startup also following the "political" guidelines of the H2 cluster
Collaborate with the participating JC entities in the development of the product to obtain the best QDC report.
Manage the outsourcing of tooling creation as required for the project if not directly taken over by the entities' procurement.
Formalise the respective perimeters with its N+1 and the sector purchases.
During the start of production, ensure in collaboration with the Aspach team the management of the supply of production consumables.
Understanding of all the compositions of the value.

During the production phase

Negotiate contracts and identify new strategic suppliers
Retrocede controlled supplies to sector purchases.
Participate in the "nationalisation" of the product if necessary.
Establishment of framework agreements in order to secure the procurement activities.

Your profile

Who are you?

You have a long, technically or commercially oriented higher education (with an affinity for technical products);
You have at least 15 years of successful experience as an international lead buyer/category manager in the field of project purchasing and an interest in our activities;
You have an acute negotiating ability;
You have an irreproachable sense of honesty and ethics;
You are a good communicator, both internally and externally; you have an excellent team spirit and are willing to work closely with project managers;
You are clear, precise, firm and pugnacious;
You are completely autonomous
Fluent in English is Mandatory - French is a clear asset.
You have a good knowledge of SAP (MM module) and the possibilities offered by ERP and the possible evolutions of these systems;
You are available for temporary assignments of variable duration, anywhere in the world.
