Senior Gate Model Tools Developer

We do this with superconducting qubits.    D-Wave Advantage Quantum Processor  Today, our Advantage quantum system has 5000+ qubits and more than 15-way connectivity. This is the greatest inter-qubit connectivity of any available quantum computer today. This allows for solving larger, more complex problems and helps to obtain higher quality solutions. It's a very promising practical approach to quantum computing because businesses are looking to solve complex problems with multiple variables and constraints. For some problems, quantum computing is either a new way or perhaps the only way to solve for those problems.    The Senior Gate Model Tools Developer role: Reporting to Director of Algorithms, Performance and Tools you will utilize your experience with gate model quantum computing to help expand D-Wave's open-source offerings to make use of quantum annealing and gate model quantum computing. You will develop software for Ocean, D-Wave's open source tools for quantum computing. 

This role can be fully remote from the US or Canada, also it can be hybrid from our Burnaby office in British Columbia, Canada.
