Senior Director Data Science & Engineering

This role can be performed remotely anywhere within the United States and Canada.

The heart of FullStory’s product is a powerful analytics engine that provides groundbreaking Digital Experience insights. As Senior Director, Data Science and Engineering, you’ll craft the vision and execution plan for using pioneering data science strategies to unlock the magic in FullStory’s rich data platform. 

You’ll have ownership of the entire Data Intelligence program, leading a team of data scientists and engineers to create novel solutions to the most challenging problems in data analytics. Along the way, you’ll collaborate with FullStory’s talented Engineering, Product Management, and Design teams. If you are an experienced leader who loves thinking deeply about novel ways to problem-solve with data, this is the opportunity for you.

Day to day, you'll:

Work directly with our data scientists to craft experiments that demonstrate the possibilities present in our analytics platform.

Collaborate with PM, Design, and Engineering teams to launch customer-facing analytics features.

Lead and grow our Data Science practice as well as manage the Engineering leads whose teams work within Data Intelligence.

Drive strategic improvements to our internal data experimentation infrastructure and define a glide path from that infrastructure into the product.

We're looking for someone who:

Has experience leading integrated teams of Data Scientists and Engineers

Has a track record of attracting, recruiting, and retaining  Data Scientists

Has leveraged large data sets to launch multiple features in a B2B or B2C product

• Has experience communicating and partnering cross-functionally with technical teammates and non-technical stakeholders

 Has experience leveraging  Data Science in areas such as Machine Learning and Statistical Modeling to develop both experimental and production-ready architectures
