Scrum Master SAFE-team Rainbow

Rainbow? At KBC, this is a groupwide, international programme aiming to implement a new data warehouse. This new IT platform will produce company management reporting for Risk, Finance and Treasury in a more efficient and qualitative manner than the current, complex and silo-based reporting solution.

As a Scrum Master, you will work with one of the teams of this programme. Together you will work in an Agile Release Train in a 3-monthly cadence to deliver all deliverables: the required software, development- and test processes, frameworks and standards, integration patterns and security aspects.

You increase the efficiency of your team, help them to solve issues and motivate them. You strive for changes that will ensure quality and timelines.

You will be a part of the Data Quality Management department, the heart of KBC's data-driven strategy. A motivated team that is always looking for ways to improve and innovate!

• You are a servant leader and a coach for your team.
• You help to educate the team in agile and SAFe, ensuring that the agreed agile process is being followed.
• You help to remove impediments. You foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement.
• Together with the Product Owner you prepare and refine the backlog for the different planning cycles.
• You participate in team-level retrospectives, sprint & iteration plannings, daily scrums, .
• You schedule and moderate the agile ceremonies such as huddles, refinements and planning, retrospectives.
• You seek feedback and learn from it. You also give feedback to your team.

• You have great coaching and communication skills. You inspire team members, motivate them and allow them to grow. When needed, you can facilitate consensus.
• You are an expert in the agile method.
• You are not afraid to challenge existing ways of working, respectfully. At the same time, you are open to feedback, new ideas and insights.
• In case of problems, you focus on a solution.
• You are patient and friendly.
