Who are we looking for?
As Scientific Service Specialist, you will be part of the Scientific Service team which takes care of our current product portfolio and continuous improve our upscaling processes. You create trainings on the science behind our products towards internal stakeholders and support CRC and sales with technical queries. Finally, you support the creation and maintenance of product information databases.
You will coordinate, together with the Scientific Services Manager, the transition from the new products to the factory. You take care of product optimizations, while maintaining product quality and adjust specifications where needed. The Product Specialist will coordinate the countertypeing- and long term- stability processes of our products and will support cost savings projects directly related to our products.

You will coordinate, together with the Scientific Services Manager, the transition from the new products to the factory. The Scientific Service Specialist will work closely together with the Supply Chain departments (Quality, Filling, Blending,…) to provide technical support, mainly in problem solving, change management and root cause analysis, to ensure the continuous improvement of our products and production processes. You will coordinate the trainings on the science behind our products, towards internal stakeholders trough knowledge sharing and training scheduling (e.g. GMP required trainings). The Product Specialist will also support the NPD/QC team to implement new methods within the laboratory, and you will support Packaging, VOTP and Sales with technical product queries.
Special skills and requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D or Quality
- Minimum of SAP or ERP knowledge
- Fluent Dutch & English
- Proficient in working with Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook and SharePoint
- Affinity with R&D, quality, supply chain and packaging
- Affinity with continuous improvement
- Strong in communication
Responsibilities:
- Support the business with the continuous improvement of our products and production processes.
- Support the business with product implementation and after care of our products.
- Coordinate and execute lab work for stability testing (countertypeing, trial production and long-term stability)
- Coordinate and execute lab work for cost savings projects.
- Coordinate and support the business on problem solving and RCA.
- Develop trainings on the science behind our products.
- Coordinate and support on the implementation of new methods.
- Strong and open communication with the stakeholders.
