We are currently a team of 30 and are actively looking to rapidly grow our engineering, solution architecture, client success and growth teams.


What’s the opportunity?
As a Sales Representative in the Growth Team at SettleMint, you will be driving adoption of blockchain technologies forward by helping companies accelerate their time to market using our award winning low-code blockchain solution. You will be prospecting on the front line and interacting with innovative, globally leading companies that are embarking on their blockchain journey. You will be responsible for owning the early stages of the sales process, for qualifying sales opportunities and driving client acquisition for SettleMint. To achieve objectives, you will be supported by an award winning product, a digital marketing engine and a supportive management team that is deeply invested in your success.


What will you be doing?

  • Qualifying target accounts according to our in-house maturity scale. Our product is suitable for companies that want to A) move from a proof of concept to full production utilisation for a specific use case or B) experiment with blockchain technology rapidly for a number of use cases.
  • Identifying key contacts at these accounts and connecting with them.
  • Generating interest in our product during an introductory call. Demonstrating the SettleMint platform to them to show the value we bring them. You will be supported in demoing the product at first but are expected to give product demos within a short period of time.
  • Managing all pre-sales interactions with target accounts and building strong relationships with key stakeholders within the account.
  • Collaborating with the solution architects team to prepare proposals
  • Negotiating and closing deals.
  • Maintaining close relationship with clients during the delivery phase with clients and acting as relationship responsible throughout the client relationship.

Sharing market feedback with the growth and product teams and keeping detailed records of account interactions and status in our CRM system.


What skills and mindset do you need?

  • Strong desire to succeed in sales at a growth stage company. You will share in the success but need to go after it every single day. The client you connected with yesterday or the deal that closed last week is great but you will need a “today is a new day” attitude.
  • Knowledgeable about blockchain technology and it’s applications in different sectors. You will be pitching SettleMint’s product in many industries and need to be quick on your feet. Today, blockchain in investment banking, tomorrow, blockchain in supply chain and the day after in oil and gas. Without a basic knowledge of the key benefits of the technology and what it can bring, you will get quickly overwhelmed. You must be willing to research and learn how blockchain can be applied in several contexts.
  • Focus will be key . Blockchain is applicable in many industries and in many ways. You will need to be able to sell what we have and not focus on the features that we don’t have. You will interact with the product team to further enhance the product but you cannot wait for new features to sell.
  • Excellent communication skills in cold-calls, emails and via other channels. You will be able to listen to and understand client needs and on this basis, formulate convincing communications with clients.
  • Experienced in selling technology will be key and you will have 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience in a (technical) sales role.
  • Self-starter attitude and results focused with the ability to execute new ideas with autonomy. You will carry business development targets and will be expected to deliver.

Background

5-10 years of experience combining sales or sales support, of which 1-3 years focused on blockchain technology. Most of this experience will have been gained in Enterprise technology sales for SaaS products.

Language

Fluent (spoken and written) in English plus at least 1 other European language.
