Figures, and the stories behind them, are often the doorways through which important insights are to be found. They give way to a path that needs to lead to appropriate actions. As our Risk Advisor, your expertise ensures we follow the right path. You ensure KBC manages its liquidity carefully and in the best possible way.

You establish a grounded view of how our investments and loans evolve. You perform quantitative and qualitative analyses, follow up changes in regulations and legislation, and keep an eye on social developments. What you learn forms the basis of your advice to business stakeholders.

You add strength to the International ALM (Asset & Liability Management) & Liquidity Risk Competence Center: a team of risk professionals who enjoy collaborations - with each other, business stakeholders, colleagues from other departments, and of course, with regulators (ECB/NBB).

  • We work with our colleagues from the Risk Measurement department to monitor risks and report them in detail. We have an ever-increasing focus on anticipatory forecasting in risk analysis.
  • We support the Group Executive Committee and the Board of Directors in determining the risk appetite of KBC and in defining our ALM & Liquidity Risk profile.
  • We're always looking for what can be done better. In other words, we continuously improve our way of working and how the ALM & Liquidity Risk frameworks are implemented.
  • We are the point of contact for regulators regarding any aspect of ALM & Liquidity Risk.

Description de la fonction

  • You hit the ground running with a six-to-nine-month traineeship with the Risk Measurement that gives you knowledge and insight into the domain. The reporting process is second-nature to you.
  • After this traineeship, you take up co-ownership of one or more core processes in Liquidity Risk. They may include risk appetite, risk reporting, stress tests, providing advice or any of the many other possibilities.
  • You support the team that drafts risk reports and gives advice to senior management on a group level.

  • We offer you an exceptional range of training and development opportunities so that you can develop your full potential. You are encouraged to keep growing as a person and professionally.
  • You will receive a permanent contract with a competitive salary, including an extensive package of additional benefits.
  • We value a good balance between your work and private life. This is one of the reasons we were awarded the Top Employer 2021 certificate. We'll happily share some other reasons with you during an interview.
