Reliability Engineer

The Reliability Engineering serves local needs in a global landscape. A distribution center is a critical working environment for client to bring our products to our customers. As a reliability engineer, you will work on observability and metrics, continuous delivery, chaos engineering and efficient incident response improvements.

Your responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with multiple stakeholders within client distribution center and the global headquarters to get an aligned vision on how to improve and keep track of the stability and system health of client fulfilment centers.
Fix and analyze application issues and performance incidents in the production;
Deep knowledge of the services running and proactively work with stakeholders to resolve issues;
Analyze, assess and keep track of infrastructure capacity;
Create and define Incident Response templates, work as a point of contact for stakeholders and perform root cause analysis;
Create and define standard operating procedures;
Implement best practices to ensure software releases are consistent and repeatable to shorten time-to-market;
Participate in reviews for new features, products and infrastructure components;
Proactively test the robustness of a system by adopting Chaos Engineering principles.

Your profile

MS / BS in Computer Science helpful but not required
3+ years as an infrastructure architect building a large data intensive / high scale / large distributed systems and services
Experience in one or more of the following : Java, Go, Python, Shell.
Preferred - recognized contributor to Open Source eco-system for big data projects highly desired
Management and leadership experience very helpful
