THE ROLE As part of tracking milk from cow to carton, the Milk Moovement platform provides our clients with all the tools they need to manage their supply chain while staying in constant communication with their stakeholders. The Milk Moovement system manages billions of pounds of fluid milk annually. Data accuracy is of utmost importance!  We’re hiring a Quality Assurance Analyst I to join our growing QA team and primarily focus on laying the foundation for a robust test suite aimed at automation. Here are some examples of things you might do:  

• Develop and maintain software test cases and test suites for new and existing features
• Ensuring that quality issues and defects are identified, documented, tracked and resolved 
• Working closely with delivery teams to ensure release requirements are met through exploratory and scripted testing 

You will be part of a cross-functional team distributed across North America but with offices in Halifax and St. John’s. You should be comfortable coming to our offices if nearby, and not shy on Zoom and Slack if remote

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR  Milk Moovement seeks to have a diverse, inclusive, team-oriented, and curiosity-driven herd. Our technical team lives to find unique solutions to the challenges inherent to digital supply chains, and we expect you will be excited to do so as well. You must have prior quality assurance experience with a modern web/mobile stack, but experience working in the dairy industry is not required! We will teach you all there is to know about the industry beginning with our Dairy 101 course. It is definitely more complicated than you think and that is why we do what we do! You will likely have been writing tests or manually testing for at least 1+ year, but we are more interested in the how rather than the how long. We expect you will have some prior programming experience in a language like Javascript or Python. Specific programming experience working with E2E Automation frameworks or test management software would be a major plus, but it is not required.

WHAT WE OFFER  For most of our technical roles, we pay above the current market, depending on experience and potential impact. We also make sure every herd member has quarterly performance reviews and ongoing dialogue through 1 on 1s with their direct managers. We review compensation annually based on this data and external market factors.
