SGS Life Sciences carries out all type of services for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, from coordination and running of clinical trials with new molecules or techniques on human beings, to support and consultancy on post marketing registration activities. SGS Life Sciences has also expertise in the quality control of pharmaceuticals.

In the spirit of continued growth and to help improve our business, we are currently seeking for a Project Manager Biometrics. 

Job Description

As Project Manager Biometrics you will manage a cross-functional team in the execution of the biometric and medical affairs (medical review and pharmacovigilance) aspects of a clinical trial. Your main responsibility is to plan, organize, coordinate and control the project-related biometric activities in order to achieve all the objectives described in the contract within the constraints of timelines and budget and with respect to ICH-GCP and the applicable procedures.

You will be the biometrics primary contact to the sponsor, the other SGS Life Science project related team and the external biometrics providers. This implies that:

  • You coordinate the assignment from A to Z
  • You follow up on the status of the project
  • You review the budget on a regular basis
  • You will be the primary contact person in case of project audits.

Qualifications

What do you need to be successful?

  • A university degree or PhD in Science
  • At least 2 years of experience within project management or any other relevant function in a pharmaceutical company or CRO.
  • Do you have experience in / knowledge of the different biometric activities? You’ll have a leg up!
  • Excellent communication skills in English. Other languages are an asset
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (to attend kick-off meetings)
