Critical Alert, a developer in the critical messaging nurse call industry, is hiring a Project Manager to manage nurse call implementation and associated projects. The Project Manager will apply project management skills and best practices to accomplish the goals of delivering the projects on time, within budget and with the highest customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, self-starter who is proactive in taking ownership of project management tasks & deliverables, and comfortable working in a high-tech, fast paced environment. This individual should seek to be innovative & creative in problem resolution and have experience overseeing multiple projects concurrently while promoting streamlined project management processes.
What You’ll Do:
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress throughout the life of the project
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Conduct meetings with clients to clarify project scope, timeline and finalize order details prior to shipping hardware to sites
Ensure resource availability and allocation by working with management team, client and 3rd party installers, as applicable
Perform proper risk management practices to minimize project risks
Manage and maintain relationships with the client and all stakeholders
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
Attend conferences and training as required to maintain technical and professional proficiency
Travel to customer or vendor sites as needed, up to 30%
Assist in continuous development of project management and deployment best practices
Who You Are:
Goal oriented and self-disciplined with demonstrated project management and meeting facilitation experience
Adaptable within an ever-changing business and technical environment while providing a positive image
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience in healthcare administration, software implementation management, or technical project management
PMP certification or willing to become certified
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Process development/improvement experience
Must demonstrate the ability to successfully manage multiple technical projects
Demonstrated ability to capture technical and user requirements in an articulate and organized manner
Demonstrated track record of managing a defined sequence of tasks to completion with aggressive schedules, through individual effort and coordination of work with others
Strong working knowledge of Salesforce, Mavenlink, and MSFT Office
Low-voltage systems implementation experience
Experience or familiarity with Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS), RFID and/or Wayfinding solutions
Experience working in healthcare environments
