We are seeking a versatile Technical Project Manager to act as an integral part of the product development process, overseeing the SDLC aspects of product development including the planning, tracking, sequencing, and final on-time delivery of each project within the program/initiative.
The ideal Technical Project Manager will be a highly organized, self-starter who is proactive in taking ownership of project management tasks & deliverables, and comfortable working in a high-tech, fast paced environment. Furthermore, this individual will deliver product features spanning multiple initiatives.
This individual will be part of growing the newly established PMO. This individual should seek to be innovative & creative in problem resolution and have experience overseeing multiple projects concurrently while promoting streamlined project management processes. The Tech PM also has solid belief in the principles of Agile and the knowledge of when to bend them to fit the team and/or scenario.
What You’ll Own:
Manage SaaS product projects lifecycle of various size and complexity from design to release
Support Product partners on aligning product roadmaps and priorities to ensure timely delivery of the program/initiative goals
Managing the program scope, schedules (Project Plans), resource capacity
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Perform continuous risk management to minimize project and program risks, and provide recommendations for mitigating risks or delays
Produce and maintain project plans
Assist in resource capacity planning for your projects in partnership with engineering leadership
Identify through observations and retrospectives (i.e. new strategy, new tools, new process)
Assist in growing the PMO including process improvement, documentation, tooling, etc.
What You’ve Accomplished:
BS Degree with an understanding of mobile and web technology (high-level knowledge of SDLC principles in these domains)
4+ years of project management experience managing the delivery of software development projects, including feature development timelines, resource management, and process improvement
Project management experience in a Saas product environment preferred
Experience working within a PMO department desirable
Experience creating dashboards in Jira, writing queries using JQL desirable
Experience driving projects from ideation to execution
Project/Program management certification (PMP, CSM, etc.)

Active participant in creating solutions
High familiarity with project management system and product road mapping tools (Confluence, Jira, Smartsheet, MS Portfolio, Visio, Lucid Charts)
Knowledge and experience of PDLC and SDLC processes
Familiarity with working on a portfolio of projects
Ability to proactively identify, prioritize, and drive resolution of project issues and risks
Experience with waterfall & scrum methodology
The ability to have foresight into risk management across multiple projects
Work across multiple projects simultaneously while being proactive in maintaining accurate and clear reporting
