About Our Client

Our client is a leading company in the Food industry.

Job Description

For the role of production planner, you will receive following responsibilities:

  • Comply with applicable food safety laws and international standards: Safety, Working Conditions, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Prerequisite Programs (PRP), British Retail Consortium (BRC), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Halal, Kosher, allergens,….
  • Weekly preparation of a production schedule in APO/SAP/MES
  • Carry out the bulk orders and follow up the supply every week
  • Communicate the number of shifts needed per week to deliver the customer on time.
  • In the planning, he provides for correct compliance with the GMP, HACCP and BRC procedures, while also striving for the most efficient sequence of production in order to deliver the customer on time.
  • Planning production stops (investments, technical interventions, inventory…)
  • Keeping the production planning up-to-date in APO/SAP/MES on a daily basis and adjusting and communicating it where necessary.
  • Follow the production meeting daily
  • Continuously taking care of communication between production and preparation on the one hand and purchasing, internal suppliers and sales on the other hand
  • Guarantee the correctness and follow-up of master data in the APO/SAP/MES system
  • Backup for the other planners and the material planner

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for someone with following profile:

  • Guarantee the correctness and follow-up of master data in the APO/SAP/MES system
  • Backup for the other planners and the material planner
  • You have a bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific direction or equivalent through experience in logistics, economics or supply chain.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • You have a good knowledge of Dutch, French and English.
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of planning tools Knowledge of MES and ERP systems
