Project/Department Description and responsibilities
Our client is currently looking for a Senior Product Owner within FLUX squad to start a contingency mission and continue it on permanent bases after 6 months of service.
This individual would help information exchange between technical teams in an Agile way which will help the organization to continue to enter into the Digital Age linking the business and IT.

Primary Tasks and responsibilities
The Medical Care Business Unit is tasked with supporting the health insurance funds in the day-to-day management of reimbursements to their members and to provide all payments and services to the institutions and care providers. It is active in three main areas:
1: Health and Disability insurance regulations for medical care
2: As an intermediary between external providers of services and information (NIC, third parties, other national federations, ...) and our production service and Health Insurance Funds
3: Analysing the IT needs of our production department and our health insurance funds

The Business Unit works closely with the squads (teams) in the IT tribe. Together we are responsible, in an Agile framework, for the analyses, developments and testing of the applications that are linked to our core business.

o The candidate will make sure the global customer file is managed through understanding it’s customer’s needs.
o Understand the business domain or the feature/requirement in question, have good understand from a point of view of end-user and assure implementation and follow-up respectively.
o Ameliorate customer journey by linking technology and innovation into the customer experience, solution defined.
o Analyse and translate the end user’s needs transmitting it to the development teams in necessary terms to assure successful solution delivery.
o Quality assurance making sure the implementation of the functionalities is tested and running by design according to the end customer needs.
o Follow-up on delivery, implementation and other functionalities through Product Pack Log Management.
o Create and maintain the Product Backlog
o Prioritize features in the Backlog before each Sprint
o Assisting the Scrum Master with certain Agile ceremonies (Sprint Review Meetings, Sprint Planning Meetings …)
o Clarify the high level scope and the technical synergies between the different sub-projects
o Assist the Scrum teams/Squads defining priorities of the business’ needs
o Focus on the resources and capabilities of the team(s), the projects or innovations that bring the most added value to the organization and its stakeholders.
o Continuously follow up on customer feedback on any changes and deliverables
o Set up and conduct a Road Map of delivery
o Manage risks and issues related to delivery
o Report on the budget
o Make sure to keep full control of the above mentioned responsibilities at all time
Technical profile requirements
  • +5 years’ experience in a Product Owner role in the IT Sector (in application development, JAVA environments)
  • Expert knowledge of technical Systems Integration
  • Very good knowledge of Agile methods, preferably as Product Owner or Scrum Master (ex: Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, SAFe)
  • Expert knowledge of XML, JIRA, Internet circuit, K-mer,…)
  • Expert knowledge of JAVA architecture is a plus

Methodology/Certification requirements
  • Master Degree in Computer Science OR equivalent through experience.
