PHP and JS developer

Introduction

Immoweb is the largest real estate website on the Belgian market for buying or renting houses, apartments, building plots, garages, offices, and commercial properties.

Within the Axel Springer group, one of the world leading digital publishers that employs more than 16000 people in over 40 countries worldwide, Immoweb is part of the Axel Springer Subsidiary named “group AVIV”.

The AVIV group was founded by Axel Springer in 2018 and has its main focus on digital activities in relation with Real Estate in Europe. This group includes well-known websites such as seLoger.com, Logic-Immo and Meilleures Agents in France and Immowelt in Germany.

Your responsabilities

Immoweb is looking for a new PHP and JS developer to join its frontend web team.

We have released a brand new version of the Website in 2020. We are looking for someone to help maintain it, develop new features, and start new projects from scratch.

Your profile

Required skills

At least 3-4 years of experience in a similar position
Knowledge of at least one major PHP framework (Symfony, Laravel, Yii…)
Knowledge of at least one major JS framework (Vue, React, Svelte…)
Versioning using Git (we use GitHub)
You know design patterns and good practices and you can justify them
Experience with modern APIs and RESTful web services
Working knowledge of English (talking and writing)
You are a team player with a sense for humour

Nice to have

Craft CMS, specifically as a headless CMS
You have previously worked in sprints, using the Agile methodology
CSS and integration skills
