The Performance Marketing Manager, Email Specialist is responsible for managing email marketing campaigns across Human Agency’s client portfolio. The Email Marketing Coordinator is ultimately responsible for developing and executing comprehensive email marketing strategies to achieve client goals. This person will also report on the success of efforts, and document any challenges in order to make changes going forward to ensure campaign success. The Email Marketing Coordinator will work closely with account management, media, and other Agency teams.  Responsibilities

Campaign Management: Manage and optimize client email campaigns, from initial strategy and roadmapping, to creative development, testing, delivery, and evaluation.

Plan, coordinate and execute email experiences that drive conversion, retention, upsell, and reactivation.

Analyze customer behavior and engagement, leveraging those insights to identify customer segments for use in email marketing automation.

Drive ongoing optimization through comprehensive A/B testing strategy, including developing and refining best practices and socializing learnings across the team.

Be obsessed with our Agency’s and our clients’ email experiences, always uncovering new opportunities for improvements, and being the internal expert on all things email.

Manage our in-house email production. 

Be responsible for all HTML & CSS-based email development, reaching towards thoughtful use of templates and internal process updates in order to drive efficiency.

Data & Reporting Management: Provide accurate and insightful reporting for clients and internally for the Human Agency team.

Utilize real-time performance data to inform strategy, cadence, and creative asset development.

Analyze key performance metrics to adjust and optimize campaigns providing regular and easily understood reports to clients and internal stakeholders. 

Stay informed and actively research new platform updates, channels, and performance methods to provide insight for clients and the Human Agency team.

Craft insights-driven briefs that inspire our creative team to develop email communications that further our client-customer relationships and deliver on our business objectives.

Support Sales Pipeline: Support sales team to develop campaign goals and strategies for potential clients.

Provide regular updates to our sales team on effective email campaigns and promotion-worthy statistics and case-studies.

Assist in the development and proposition of holistic digital strategies and recommend proper platform/channel use when appropriate.

Have 2-4 years of paid acquisition, media planning, or growth marketing experience at an agency or within an organization or political campaign.

Know how to use a test driven approach to problem solving  (scientific method, A/B testing, tests for statistical significance, randomized controlled trials).

Are a team-player with high-energy and a desire to help improve internal processes and contribute to startup growth beyond your day-to-day tasks.

This job is definitely for you if you:

Have deep experience with marketing automation platforms, analytics and business intelligence tools, and A/B testing tools.

Have a proficient knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and email testing tools for QA’ing email templates & website landing pages.

Demonstrate a solid understanding of marketing attribution, UTM tracking, and Pixel implementation.

Are extremely well-versed with Google Sheets and Google Analytics.

Have experience with eCommerce & direct-to-consumer marketing

Are familiar with data visualization software such as Tableau, Google Data Studio, etc.

Have exceptional attention to detail and enjoy experiment design.

Are very comfortable working with numbers and have the ability to present and analyze data in various ways.

Have an unwavering willingness to learn and go above and beyond what is asked of you.

 

 

Location: Anywhere in the USA is fine. We are a fully remote company with employees concentrated in Austin, New York, Chicago, and St Louis.
