We are seeking a People Operations Manager who will focus on providing support to the managers, employees, and HR Business Partners within a shared services model as we stand up our new HR Shared Services Center.

This role will initially be responsible for data entry while we build out the team and provide direct supervision of a leave administrator. However, the role will also partner closely with the Director, People Operations and the SVP Global People Solutions to stand up the new HR Shared Service Center.  Over time, the Manager will supervise a team of Human Resource Admins providing customer service to HR Data users and employees, monitoring a Customer Management ticketing system, and managing Leave of Absence and Immigration Administration. This position is responsible for building, enhancing and maintaining business partnerships with clients enterprise wide.

 

 

Essential Functions of the job include but are not limited to:

 

  • Responsible for consistent and efficient delivery of a broad range of HR services including leave administration, employee life cycle transactions, and CoE programs in compliance with country specific laws and regulations

  • Lead US Centralized Leave Administration; managing leave specialist

  • Participate in departmental, management or vendor reviews of activity, issues, claims, litigation, or other activity related to LOA and ADA as appropriate and upon request

  • Lead the HR Admins in the data entry of all employment transactions into HRIS

  • Management of overarching offerings/programs such as reward & Recognition; Labor Law compliance; Education Assistance, etc.

  • Support the centralization of HR by providing recommendations of processes and creating SOPs. Over time, brining in various administrative piece from the HRBPs into a centralized team

  • Support the administration of various HR Operations tools (i.e. Navex EthicsPoint, company Intranet, Company Handbook, etc.)

  • Support the development of and maintain fresh content for HR page of new company intranet.

  • Monitor, interpret, and provide recommendations to internal policies based upon new and changing legislation. Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements.

  • Contribute to the implementation of HR policies and procedures

  • Works with corporate and regional HR managers to continue to develop and manage the Employee Relations Investigations database

  • Serves as an information resource for the HR team for full life cycle of an employee

  • Serve as SME for HR data and employee life-cycle processes

  • Provide additional HR Business Partner support for growing corporate employees/managers

 

Qualifications:

 

Minimum Required:

 

  • Bachelors (4-year) degree in Business or related field

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Human Resources and shared services environment

  • 2+ years of project management of HR initiatives

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience

 

Other Required:

 

  • Knowledge of HR Technology and Service Delivery operations

  • Familiarity with US Leave of Absence administration, Immigration, EEO/AA reporting, HR Compliance

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Exercises judgment within generally defined practices selecting an approach for obtaining solutions

  • Team player contributing to a positive, collaborative working environment
