Role Description

Forage is looking for a results-oriented Partnership Development Associate responsible for driving awareness and adoption of the Forage offering amongst the higher education community in the United States. This is not a sales role - all Forage resources are free for students and education institutions.

The ideal candidate has some prior experience in marketing or account management, strong interpersonal skills and consistently biases to action.

Responsibilities

   Marketing / Awareness Focus

Drive awareness about the Forage offering amongst key stakeholders in the US higher education community (e.g. Career Services Directors, Experiential Learning Directors, Instructors and Faculty Deans)

Identify key speaking opportunities (e.g. conferences, webinars and guest lectures) and deliver compelling presentations

Conduct innovative prospecting and lead generation (e.g. through outreach campaigns, personal networking, and web-based searches)

Securing referrals to other educators from evangelist users of the Forage product.

   Partnership Development

Independently conduct discovery meetings and conversations to educate prospects (university educators) on the benefits of Forage with the goal of converting prospects into users.

Be open, collaborative, credible, and empathetic in all communications and dealings with colleagues and partners.

Accurately and consistently use Salesforce and Notion to clearly document and track your activities and learnings.

Share your insights and lessons learned with the broader Forage team.

Exhibit expertise and credibility in the fields of higher education and emerging talent recruitment.

Your Experience

You’ve previously worked within a partnerships, sales or marketing function at a fast-paced, high-growth technology company.

You are interested in innovation in higher education - you fundamentally believe that education institutions need to be doing more to prepare students for the workforce.

You have knowledge, interest or experience in experiential learning.

You have prior experience cultivating deep, trusted relationships (whether within the education industry or otherwise).

You feel comfortable delivering engaging presentations.

You’re thoughtful, kind and caring with infectious enthusiasm and energy!

You have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
