Amazon Robotics is located in the greater Boston area, the epicenter of robotics innovation. The Amazon Robotics Order Management team is the face of Supply Chain to our internal customers managing the "what", the "where" and the "when" for our customer orders. We work hand-in-hand with our Procurement and Logistics Teams to deliver right the first time and obsess over supporting our customer in successful project launches. The EU Order Management Program specialist will be responsible for the AR EU portfolio, executing both tactical and strategic programs. They will drive continuous improvement initiatives, specialize in program-level escalations and, most importantly, working to ensure on time the first time to our customers.

The Order Manager Program Specialist is a motivated self-starter who's passionate about managing operational processes, analyzing trends, and recommending and implementing process improvements. Day to day responsibilities will include managing the customer delivery schedule and execute changes as needed, escalate material issues to procurement, communicate material supply issues to the customer, and work cross functionally with logistics for hot-requests from the customer. The EU OM Program Specialist will also be responsible for ensuring Project readiness at the onset of a new project and closing the project from the Supply Chain perspective at the terminus. Strategically, they will escalate program improvement opportunities to the rest of the OM team and drive projects to capture the identified opportunity.

Your profile

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Supply Chain or related field or relevant experience
  • Experience in Supply Chain focused role
  • Experience in verbal and written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Experience directly in a customer facing role
  • Experience with conducting analysis and data mining using Microsoft Excel or similar tools
  • Experience with using Oracle, SAP or other ERP
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Operating knowledge of EDI transmission
  • Advanced level knowledge with EDI transmission
  • Managerial experience
  • Direct Experience with Order Management or Demand Planning
  • Advanced level SQL experience
