Operations Officer Specialised Finance

Financing renewable energy and infrastructure projects, lending to developing countries and company acquisitions... there is a lot involved. That is why the commercial teams of Project Finance, Export Finance and Acquisition Finance count on your support. You will work closely together with them and help follow up their clients' files.

• You will provide substantive and commercial support to experts in lending. In this way you help to ensure a smooth credit transaction. Your focus is on gathering information, analyzing the credit application, preparing the offer and the credit documentation, and negotiating with external legal advisors and experts.
• You follow up on the agreements with borrowers that are stated in the credit documentation.
• You register credit and guarantee documentation and transactions in our monitoring systems.
• You manage the document risk, including checking drawing documentation.
• You monitor, manage and check the various accounts in the accounting system.
• You liaise with exporters, foreign debtors, Belgian authorities such as the National Bank and Credendo, and other branches of KBC.
• You draw up credit reports, management reports, statistics and prepare budgets.
• Together with colleagues, you manage the Specialised Finance processes. If we make changes to our way of working - for example, our credit review process - you'll help steer that change in the right direction.
