Description de la fonction
What you will be doing
Within the operational unit Substrates, we produce germanium wafers that are used for space photovoltaics , enabling people to connect around the globe. We aim to provide best in class germanium wafers by maintaining a consistently high quality throughout the production line. Your assignment will be to define the operational strategy and roll out the operational plan to deliver on the key performance indicators of the unit with respect to QEHS, customer requirements, operational excellence and people enablement/engagement.
We want you to challenge the operational performance and to lead your team to continuously improve the sustainability of the production line while maintaining the operational flexibility towards our customers worldwide.
Your detailed responsibilities :
* You manage the day-to-day operations of the Substrates operational unit and are responsible for realizing the operational KPIs, whilst ensuring QEHS compliance with a strong focus on safe behaviour and a quality mindset.
* You develop a good understanding of our customer requirements and ensure excellent performance of our Germanium wafers at our customer premises
* You lead and inspire your team to aim for operational excellence to achieve cost excellence and manage capital employed to target.
* You promote and cultivate engagement and ownership within the operational unit.
* You translate the operational strategy into an operational plan together with your team and ensure roll out on the production floor to generate focus within the organization.
* You guarantee the necessary process and equipment knowledge is deployed on the shop floor and increase this knowledge where needed.
* You maintain and further develop the quality assurance system as to ensure a culture of continuous improvement and change management according to the internal quality procedures.
* You are part of the Olen Ge operations team and as such contribute to the overall operational strategy and performance with focus on QEHS and people.
* You contribute to the strategic growth ambitions of the business line by participating in multi-disciplinary task forces.

Profil
Who we are looking for
* You hold a Master Degree in Chemistry, Metallurgy, Engineering or a related field;
* You have at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment;
* You have a demonstrated knowledge of production processes and equipment used;
* You have a demonstrated understanding of chemistry, operational excellence and financials for running an operational unit;
* You are a true team player with strong interpersonal relations and communications skills;
* You have strong analytical skills;
* You have strong leadership skills and know how to coach and motivate a team;
* You have strong planning and organizational skills;
* You are fluent in Dutch and English.
