• In-depths understanding and knowledge of the EU policy and decision-making process, strong network among EU policy stakeholders
• Understand trends and developments in the food packaging and processing area, circular economy, climate and sustainability policy sphere, that can impact Tetra Pak’s business
• Ability to develop and deliver impactful messages, arguments and facts to regulators and decision-makers and to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Track record on communication to policy audiences on conventional and social media
• Ability to seize and materialize influencing opportunities; to build and manage relevant relationships with European policymakers and stakeholder groups and associations to ensure the effectiveness of engagement
• Keep the team and the businesses informed of political and regulatory developments
• Proven track record of consistently delivering results against time-sensitive deadlines during conflicting demands; ability to analyse complex problems and take initiatives you will also be able to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity
• Has the highest ethical standards of conduct and professional demeanour, as well as understanding and embracing purpose and core values of our company
Education and Experience:
• Master’s degree 4+ years of related experience in EU Public Affairs, ideally gained in a similar role in a multinational company, Public Affairs firm or the EU institutions preferably working topics related to sustainability, packaging or the food and beverage industry
Languages.
• Exceptional command of English and French including executive writing, other EU languages are a definitive asset
