The Covid-19 Vaccine LNO (Logistics Network Operations) Manager is part of the Global Covid 19 Logistics Delivery Operations team. This team is responsible for the end-to-end service and cost of the Intercompany Operations logistics network supporting the storage, shipping and transport of raw materials, packaging supplies and finished goods for the Comirnaty Business Unit.

This position is located in Hermalle-sous-Argenteau (Liège). As LNO you will be supporting the Global Transportation activities from and to the C19 Vx LSP Kuehne + Nagel (KN) located in Liège, Belgium. The C19 Vx LNO is the liaison between the C19 Vaccine Plants, Logistics Service Providers (LSP's) and Distribution Centres (DC's), the appointed C19 VX freight forwarders, the Real Time Temperature Monitoring (RTTM) Provider and Solution Provider Controlant and the C19 Vaccine Pfizer functions.

As LNO you will be supporting the Global Transportation activities from and to the C19 Vx LSP Kuehne + Nagel (KN) located in Liège, Belgium. The C19 Vx LNO is the liaison between the C19 Vaccine Plants, Logistics Service Providers (LSP's) and Distribution Centres (DC's), the appointed C19 VX freight forwarders, the Real Time Temperature Monitoring (RTTM) Provider and Solution Provider Controlant and the C19 Vaccine Pfizer functions.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES

C-19 VX LSP Transportation activities

  • Operationally support the site transportation management of the sites under his/her responsibility
  • Follow-up on shipment planning and execution including supervising shipment booking and scheduling
  • Leverage Logistics Platform Solutions tools capabilities related to C19 VX financial management, real time temperature monitoring, operations KPI's, scheduling/planning and optimization, and visibility processes

Outbound Logistics Network Operations

  • Ensure the C19 Vaccine is transported according to the GDP / GMP and Pfizer quality standards
  • Support Real Time Monitoring activities (ensure visibility on the platforms)
  • Manage relationship with external logistics C19 VX providers and their "Control Towers" to ensure required objectives / outcomes are achieved
  • Pfizer Control Tower operational support of in transit incidents, and intervention (including non-standard business hours support as required

High level time management

  • Day-to-day follow-up: 40%
  • Operational Excellence and project support: 40%
  • Monthly / Quarterly review meetings and Performance monitoring: 10%
  • Budget follow-up: 10%

This is an individual contributor role.

Location and working hours: Hermalle-sous-Argenteau (Liège, Belgium). This position operates on normal office hours with physical presence at least 4 days per week. Please note there is on-call support during weekends (approximatively once every two months).

Your skills

* Education: Master or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Management), Supply Chain or Logistics is required or any appropriate work experience

* Experience: 5 years Pharmaceutical and/or FCMG or experience with a global logistics services provider

* Logistics/freight management and problem solving

* Exposure to production/operations scheduling and demand management

* Cold chain logistics experience is a plus

* Good computer literacy (MS office Power Point and Excel, Transportation Management / Optimization Tools, SAP MM/SD modules, etc.)

* Languages: Proficient in English and French.
