About the job

This position is needed to help drive the applications landscape, lead a team of analysts/admins, and deploy processes and organization to increase the team’s effectiveness. 

The Business Systems Manager will be a leader on the Business Systems team responsible for managing the operational support, maintenance, and enhancements of Salesforce and associated integrated applications. This person will lead a small team of analysts/admins to partner with senior business stakeholders to develop strategic roadmaps and ensure that applications are aligned with business needs. The role combines strategic responsibilities, process improvement and in-depth hands-on technical expertise to drive application innovation across the company.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

Manage and coach a small team of analysts/admins  

Manage and develop support processes and policies across applications; guiding resolution of incidents, maintenance, and enhancement requests raised by end users

Oversee bi-weekly release cycles, backlog grooming, Jira triaging and user acceptance testing; lead team stand-ups and sprint close/kickoff meetings     

Serve as a team steward to implement, evangelize, and support processes and Business Systems delivery methodology; contribute to continuous efforts to improve processes that increase efficiency and quality of service    

Manage 3rd party vendor relationships, license procurement, and renewal meetings  

Partner with business stakeholders in prioritization and ensuring alignment of business objectives/BPMs to their requests

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience

4+ years of experience implementing, configuring and managing Salesforce (and related tools)

2+ years of people management experience preferably in a GTM systems environment

Experience leading application implementations utilizing Agile delivery methodology (using Jira)

Excellent verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization 

Desired:

Multiple Salesforce certifications

PMP or related project management certifications 

Location 

This role will be based in our San Francisco, CA OR Denver, CO office (OR remote/hybrid OK)

Approximately <5% travel is anticipated

The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is $87,360.00 - $124,800.00

Non-Sales: Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
