Within our distribution center in Winterslag (Genk) you are responsible for the development and optimization of the local logistics processes. 
• Identifying and implementing projects and process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. • You will work with managers and specialists on the implementation of these improvements and projects. • Formulating advice in function of productivity, efficiency and cost control.• Optimizing the warehouse layout and implementing and following up necessary changes.• You are part of project teams and take the lead in certain projects and working groups.• Keeping the process documentation up to date (process descriptions, working methods, job descriptions, measurement specifications, training materials,…).
• You have a bachelor or master degree in a logistics direction (eg Logistics Management, Engineering Science-Traffic-Logistics, ...) or an engineering degree, and especially a passion for logistics.• You communicate fluently in English, both in writing and orally. Knowledge of Dutch is an added value.• You are analytical and have a problem-solving approach.• Experience with data analysis.• Experience with a logistics supply chain.• You have strong computer skills (MS Access, MS Excel, MS Visio,…).• You have a service-oriented attitude and easily build a network. • You think “outside the box”. • You can translate complex process descriptions in a simple, understandable way• You can inspire, communicate clearly and build trust throughout the organization.• You succeed in creating involvement with stakeholders.• You are analytic and can structure complex problems. You use data analysis to analyze logistics processes.  • You are able to write clear reports and formulate clear advice. You support the organization in further automation of administrative and logistics processes.• You get along  with colleagues and can inspire others.• Dealing with change is in your nature.
