Description de la fonction

We are recruiting a Senior IT Technician to solve customer support issues on-site, at our customer's premises in Waterloo. You will be responsible for providing the VIP support for all on-site employees and you will work along a team of skilled and motivated technicians! We are looking for an extremely proactive person with a keen interest in technology, who is able to make suggestions for improvements and offer an opinion on new products or services.

Job Responsibilities
  • Correctly track incidents and calls timely and accurately
  • Provide IT support for Microsoft and Apple operating systems and respond to computer related service and trouble calls.
  • (Desktops/Laptops) - Hardware and Software Troubleshooting
  • Diagnose printer and other peripheral device failures and implement solutions
  • Support of key engineering applications at use within the business
  • Receive and provide required equipment (Install and set up equipment, cables, outlets and all other hardware) IMAC (installs/moves/add/changes)

Profil

Required competence, experience and education
  • Advanced technical skills across Microsoft and Apple operating systems
  • Experienced with Apple Products (MacOS/IpadOS/IOS), proficient in Microsoft Office 2013/2016/Office365 Suite, Teams/Skype/Zoom
  • Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Group Policy Objects
  • Understanding of Antivirus Protection Software, and VPN Solutions, Networking configuration and management skills
  • Advanced Print Management solution support and knowledge
  • Audio visual and conference room tools and technology experience
  • Strong sense of customer service, Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills [English]
