Legal & Finance Administrator
Job description
We are looking for a Legal & Finance Administrator with hands-on experience in contract and financial
management and administration. The role will work closely with the management team and handle
everything from contract management to monitoring finances. You will have interactions with almost
everybody within FEops and you will report to the CFO.
You will be extremely organized, be able to just get on with things, you are great with numbers and
you love working in a team environment.
You will have the following key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Monitoring of all legal affairs within FEops

o Review and manage vendor and client contracts. This involves seeking specialist
advice with specialized law firms and translating complicated legal jargon into
language which everyone can understand, as well as taking all possible legal problems
into consideration before making any recommendations
o Process legal documents to make sure there is a swift review and signing process
o Maintain an orderly, accurate and complete digital filing system
o Suggest courses of actions to protect maximally the Intellectual Property
o Serve as point of contact for legal inquiries
o Identify company risks and suggest courses of action to mitigate risk as much as
possible through proper legal contracts, insurances, or other
o Maintain required insurance policies

  • Provide day to day support for FEops’ financial processes

o Tracking and processing payments and invoices
o Work with external accountants to ensure timely completion of monthly and
quarterly financial reports
o Ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded
o Assist in budget preparation and financial analysis activities
o Assist in external financial audits
o Write public funding proposals based on technical input from R&D team
o Prepare and file the required intermediary and final public funding reports

Need to have
Bachelor or master degree with 3 to 5 years experience in general administration
Knowledge of all applicable law, rules and regulations
Knowledge of invoicing and bookkeeping
Multitasking and analytical thinking skills
Cross-functional, risk-based and innovative thinking skills
Accurate and punctual attitude
Good presentation and communication skills
Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
Team-player
Nice to have
Experience with public funding
Experience with financial audits
Experience with patent law
Knowledge of privacy law in various regions eg GDPR, HIPAA
