Role and Responsibilities

Your role

The role of the Key Account Manager Laptop & Chromebooks adds value to Samsung and to their customers by delivering a well-managed and growing business for the Belgian market space. The Samsung Key Account Manager B2B is responsible for driving yearly revenue targets and long-term revenue through all market segments for NPC business.

Your responsibilities

Your main responsibility as the Key Account Manager Laptop & Chromebooks is to drive growth through the development and expansion of customer and channel relationships in different market segments.

Besides that your responsibilities are the following:

  • Achieve key business goals including revenue quotas and reporting (40% of time).
  • Develop existing Verticals Accounts and channel partners: Build strong customer relationships (30% of time).
  • Acquisition of new Vertical Accounts: Identify and win new key Accounts (30% of time).

Your team

As a Key Account Manager Laptop & Chromebooks you’ll be part of the B2B mobile sales organization (MX). Along with your team you will be focusing on the following verticals: Healthcare, Government/Public, Trade & Logistics, Finance & Insurance, Retail & Industry .

The ideal Key Account Manager Laptop & Chromebooks recognize themselves in the following profile:

  • 5-8 years successful experience managing Note PC in a growing business.
  • Minimum of 5 years of selling in the appropriate verticals.
  • Experience working with senior and executive level management in top 500 accounts and the ability to map a customers’ business need to technology solutions
  • Ability to develop a market entry strategy and action plan.
  • Solution and product knowledge: understanding of solutions and needs.
  • Market knowledge and experience: understands the vertical business drivers including key behaviors and strategies to engage.
  • Vertical network at all level of the organizations from C level to IT heads. Strong understanding of their needs and business models and requirements. Knowledge of the partners active in a specific segment.
  • Experience driving opportunities, managing a sales pipeline and exceeding quota within nominated market segment.
