Job Description
As Key Account Manager DIY, you will be responsible for the management of the Top customer portfolio assigned to you in the BeNeLux DIY market.
Strategic Responsibility:
- Increase sales and manage profitability of Key Accounts
- Is fully responsible for the long-term management and is final decision maker
- Based on the regional BU strategy and the regional Marketing plans, develop accounts with the assigned teams and lead the implementation
- Identity new opportunities, manage & implement projects and sales pipeline
Key Tasks:
- Analyse Key account development & evaluate profitability and drive the necessary measures
- Manage all company resources and competences to contribute to the success of the selected projects
- Manage complex projects by building a profound network within the customers across different locations and different functions
- Seek for big new projects and define a tactic to push and close the projects
- Is able to consider multiple dimensions to build a power offer: products, services, process integration
- Define a mid-term strategic plan for Key account
- Manage complex listing, price and contract negotiations within complex buying centre
In this position you will report to the Head of Sales Western Europe
The Successful Applicant
- University degree (economics, business administration, engineering) or equivalent
- Sales experience (3-5 years) in a similar role within DIY, FMCG.
- Strong result-oriented Customer focus
- Excellent communication skills and talented networker
- Team player
- Advanced negotiation and presentation skills
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Fluent in Dutch, French and English
- Willingness to travel within BeNeLux, time to time abroad.
- Experience working with e-commerce is an advantage
