Overall Summary

We are looking for a Junior Sales Representative for our Sales Office in Belgium, who will be responsible for representing the Company in the highest professional manner, acquiring new customers, and maintaining the relations with existing ones.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promote and sale the MicroPort Orthopedics products mainly to surgeons & operating room nurses, but also pharmacists, purchase managers, technical services, and hospital management
  • Support & give technical advises during the interventions about the good use of our products when needed
  • Prepare and document account plans for your area and customers to define sales budget
  • Create monthly reports on the follow up of account plan and other important information
  • Make work schedules for your area and communicate them to your manager
  • Participate to meetings and other internal events

Accountability
A high degree of autonomy and initiative are required. You will work closely with other sales colleagues and cross-functionally across the entire organization. You will be responsible to meet/exceed their annual goals and support the broader objectives of the organization.

Compliance
The Sales Representative, must follow all internal processes related to HCP consultant interaction, and may be able to initiate and verify HCP consultant services per the processes. The Sales Representative must also follow all reporting guidelines for business expenses, particularly as they pertain to HCP interaction and involvement.

Full compliance is a condition of employment.

Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in business, science or related discipline (nursing, physiotherapist, …)

Experience Requirements

  • Successful operational or sales experience in the medical device and/or life sciences industries
  • Previous knee or hip experience strongly preferred
  • Implant knowledge is preferred along with demonstrated progressive levels of accomplishment.
  • Experience in electronic health record systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of the hospital working environment - OR / Logistics / C-suite / Purchasing
