As Junior Marketing Coordinator, you will be co-responsible to plan and execute local operational marketing activities with objective of driving national awareness and conversion in the Benelux region (Belgium and The Netherlands) as well as supporting regional activities in Western Europe where relevant to generate demand and drive sales for Roland, BOSS and V-MODA brands.
You will also be responsible to promote Roland brands towards national key stakeholders (end-user, press, artists and influencers) in alignment with European marketing strategy as well as ensure successful delivery of European campaigns towards the local markets.

Objectives and main activities of this role
Primary Tasks
  • Manage and monitor the operational marketing plan to drive National brand awareness and conversion in your territory, in alignment with the Global and European marketing strategy.
  • Manage and execute paid commercial digital marketing campaigns focusing on lead generation and sales conversion, while adhering to social media guidelines and policies to protect Roland accounts and ensure safe working ethical standards.
  • Promote Roland brands to key stakeholders (such as end-user, press, artists, influencers) in alignment with the European marketing strategy and to deliver European campaigns in the local market.
  • Support the regional Marketing Manager with commercial support in other markets in Western Europe, where relevant.
Conversion Marketing
  • Take initiative together with Head of Sales to develop and deliver quarterly key partner business plans on time, on brand and on budget to achieve pre-defined objectives per activity.
  • Active contribution to the growth of your region via external key partnerships, aimed at generating demand and drive sales for Roland brand.
  • Develop and manage solid relationships with key external stakeholders to facilitate a joint approach to promote Roland products and campaigns and spot opportunities for proactive solutions.
  • Create quarterly review documents per key business plan to reflect micro and macro results, and to demonstrate key learnings as well as ROI.
  • Support the European and local retail teams to deliver retail marketing plans where relevant/required.
Launch & Campaign Management
  • Manage the execution of European and local campaigns within the local market and in accordance with agreed plan and guidelines. Develop and manage additional strategic initiatives to improve relevancy and actively contribute to local success.
  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders to inform of and propose solutions concerning any local requirements outside of the agreed plan, for example a local sales issue and need for a specific sales action and/or marketing activity.
Digital Marketing
  • Social Media - To plan, manage and analyze paid and organic social marketing activities in alignment with key partner business plans. To drive results via regular performance reviews and optimization of campaigns.
  • Digital Advertising - To utilize digital advertising platforms to drive awareness of campaigns and conversion via selected key business partners.
  • Marketing Tools – Be able to support central marketing team with email creation and/or web pages as required.  
  • Content Creation - Manage content creation as part of key partner business plans and local market execution, working alongside the European product specialist team and/or artists where required.
  • Artist Relations - Utilize and seek out artist and influencer relationships in conjunction with Roland’s AR & product teams to help raise product/brand awareness as part of a commercial content strategy.
  • Media - Manage commercial relationships with local media outlets to secure effective media coverage via paid promotion activity and/or product reviews, PR and digital opportunities. Pro-actively seek opportunities by leveraging market, media and industry knowledge.
Events
  • Manage livestreamed and physical events/exhibitions to facilitate an optimal customer experience of the Roland brand from planning, execution and analyzing stage.

Profil

Experiences, skills & qualifications required
Key skills
  • Relevant degree in Business/Marketing and/or minimum 3 years of experience as a key member within a conversion focused/commercial marketing team.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of marketing practice and process.
  • 1+ year hands-on digital marketing expertise within SEM, SEO and social media, within a B2C product/retail or e-commerce environment and/or at a digital marketing agency.
  • Excellent project management experience with ability to manage multiple projects at once from initial planning to measuring results and continued optimisation. 
  • Commercial, data-driven mindset. Understand the importance of data in defining and reshaping user journeys and goals.
  • Good experience with Analytics - interpreting analysis, reporting, and using data for decision making.
  • Basic translating and proof-reading skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch. Professional ability to speak and write in English. (Knowledge of German is desirable, but not essential.)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
