My client is currently looking for a highly motivated Java Developer based in Brussels, Belgium for a 6 month contract.Â
This client is one of the leading consultancies' company in Belgium. As a Java Developer, you will part of the internal growth within the team, and you will be working with other Java developers, architects, and project managers.Â
Main responsibilities: Â
You need to exhibit your knowledge of your software skills by dealing with both onshore and offshore colleagues, as well as dealing with multiple stakeholders. Furthermore, you will work with multiple people within the business including the infrastructure teams, IT architects and the technical experts. Their primary responsibilities include designing and implementing Java applications, developing and testing software, and resolving technical issues that arise.
Technical skills:
4+ years of experience in JavaÂ
Java EE, JPA Hibernate, EJB and REST experienceÂ
Experience to develop high level user stories into a detailed implementation plan, both technical and functional
Designing and implementing Java-based applications.
Analysing user requirements to inform application design.
Defining application objectives and functionality.
Aligning application design with business goals.Degree & Experience
Communicates well in English and in either Dutch or French
Keen team player
Must be based in Belgium alreadyÂ
Banking experience and knowledgeÂ
You can work 3 days remotely.Â
