For our European Business Unit, we are currently looking for an intern:

Internship project: Safety

Duration: 6 weeks -3 months, preferably full-time Timeframe: 2019/2020

JOB CONTENT

The goal of this internship is to work on a project to support our HSEQ Coordinator on different safety projects in the 3 sites in Belgium. Your main responsibilities:

• Support the development of EHS policies and programs
• Develop new evacuation plan for our 3 sites
• Analyze fall protection
• Set up guidelines for hot work safety
• Set-up for powered industrial trucks/hoists/cranes
• Etc.

• Support in administer safety commissioning reports (indiensstellingsverslagen)
• Review legislation updates & suggest improvements in existing policies
• Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
• Initiate and organize EHS training of employees and executives if needed
• Record and investigate incidents to determine causes (in case something happens)

PROFILE

• A bachelor or master degree related to safety
• Good knowledge of Office 365
• A keen interest in safety topics
• Curious, independent, adaptive and eager to learn
• Fluent in English and Dutch
• Home based in Belgium (near Waregem)
