Mobile Lab

We are currently searching for a new colleague to become part of the team that work in our Mobile Lab educational facilities.

Arthrex is the only company in Europe that offers training facilities in fully equipped, high-tech mobile labs. This offers a unique possibility to train surgeons wherever and whenever by offering the entire Arthrex line of products at every hospital.

We go on site with the mobile truck to the local hospitals to offer surgeons and their staff a high level training.

Your responsibilities

Mobile Lab Assistant 50%

As Mobile Lab Assistant, you will support the setup for training of new surgical techniques and equipment.

Responsibilities includes :

Assisting surgeons and colleagues in an international lab setting
Preparing workstations with instrument setups
Learning about new techniques and equipment setups
Maintaining and troubleshooting medical equipment
Keeping stock of disposable usage
Handling human specimens

Your profile

Relevant education is a plus, but not required – what is important to us is that you can comfortably live up to these points::

Willingness to do the work required – you will be travelling internationally in Belgium, The Netherlands, France, Spain, Portugal and Italy, and can spend up to two weeks away from home, followed by a period without work
Willingness to learn continuously – it is a dynamic and fast growing field
Ability to take charge in a fast-paced environment. There is a lot of responsibility, but also a lot of freedom to decide your own approach on how to solve problems
Speaking and writing English fluently
You will work with new people every day and should be able to be a positive communicator
A degree in Nursing or experience in a hospital is great, however not a must
